How do you get period blood out of sheets?



You might immediately groan when you see your bed sheets stained with the period blood. It’s even more upsetting if those get through onto your beloved mattress/bedsheet.

There are some techniques that can be used to remove tough blood stains from your mattress.

Method 1: Baking Soda
Mix baking soda and some cold water, apply to the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes. Pat dry with  towel to remove moisture.



Method 2:Cold Water
Rinse the fabric in the cold water. Do not use hot water as it may set the stain in the fabric. Rub the fabric gently as to help rinse the blood away.

Method 3: Meat tenderizer
Meat tenderizer will make your steaks tastier, but do you know it also able to get rid of blood stains?
Mix some meat tenderizer and water then rub it onto the blood stain. Let it sit for few hours then remove with a cloth soaked in cold water.

Method 4: Hydrogen Peroxide
Pour hydrogen peroxide on the fabric and let it "bubble". Dab it with a dampened cloth. Keep repeat until you feel you have removed the stains.

Let the mattress dry completely after you treat the stain.

Hurray! The stain is removed. You can relax!
